Carbon Neutral

What does it mean to be carbon neutral? Being carbon neutral means to be at a state of equilibrium between emitting and removing carbon dioxide from the air. This means there is no excess carbon dioxide in the air therefore eliminating pollution and making the air we breath less toxic, making us and the world healthier. How can I become…. Here’s a few steps to lowering the carbon dioxide in our atmosphere. Heating By reducing the amount we turn on our heating we are emitting less carbon dioxide into outr home and the atmosphere Low Emitting Travel By choosing alternative travel such as walking, riding a bike, car share and public transport we reducing the carbon footprint by less carbon emitting vehicles on the roads. Change lighting By changing our lighting to LEDS we are becoming more efficient with using our energy.

Rage the wage

We need to raise awareness and raise the wage together ! Across the year 2020, there was a shocking 73.3 million people aged 16 and above being paid minimum wage that is the population of the United Kingdom (67,059,474 in 2020) and more!!   This campaign’s aim is to increase the minimum national wage for all ages to a liveable amount. We will be having protests selling merchandise and using our social media presence to make the site of this campaign and gain an audience of people who too, think that the minimum wage needs to raise. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gvt8BkY6Omk “We struggle paying our bills, no benefits, little job stability” John Doe Designer With the cost of products going up people are having to take on more hours at work just to make ends meet. Should life really just be about work and getting by? No! that’s why we need to protest now. The minimum wage should be increased to a comfortable living amount that allows people to buy the things the need without taking on more shifts so they can have the freedom to of activities outside of work and be able to live a fulfilling life.   I’m not just talking about the older generation, even though I know they have the immense struggle of paying bills and also looking after them selves and their children, the younger generation is finding it hard too with the minimum wage starting with 16 year olds it is unfair that things cost more for them as well such as bus fares and train tickets start adult pricing at 16 years old. This graph shows the hourly rate for different age categories from 2019-2020, how people can look at this and think it’s fair is beyond me. For an hour of work as an apprentice you can just about get a block of red Lester cheese from Tesco but don’t worry you can treat yourself with that 91p you’ve got left. Its the same with 25+, £8.21 wont even get you an open return train ticket from Bridlington to Hull which is an hour long train ride.     Isn’t it funny how people who earn much more than us think this is okay?       This is why we need to take action. This campaign we hope tone able to raise the minimum hourly rate for all age groups as it is everyone who is suffering.    Merch Livestream.  When buying our Merch you are helping us get the necessary equipment we need to continue our protests. You are also raising more awareness for our campaign and helping us show everyone it is up to us to get the government to raise minimum wage.https://youtu.be/0f3sp0aDpYE FrontBack FrontBack FrontBack FrontBack Rage The Wage T-Shirt $15 A 100% cotton t-shirt available in different locations and different colours.
